The ALEXA M is a flexible solution consisting of a separate camera head and body; it is tailored for action and aerial photography, tight corner shots and 3D productions. The head and body of the M are connected with a fiber optic cable, which in a hybrid form can also be used for powering the head. Phantom Miro 321S Camera
Phantom Miro cameras are small, lightweight, rugged digital high-speed cameras with many of the features found on larger and more expensive camera models. The 321S model in particular includes HD-SDI output unlike other Miro R, LC, and Lab models. The camera is easy to learn and use and addresses applications in a wide variety of industries.
Miro 321S cameras offer 2 megapixel resolution at 3.2 Gigapixels/second (Gpx/s) throughput. This translates to 1380 fps at 1920 x 1200, or over 1500 fps at 1920 x 1080. Frame rates up to 325,000 fps are available at reduced resolutions. This performance level is available in two body styles. The R-Series (Miro R321S) is a general purpose camera targeted at a wide variety of applications that demand a ruggedized camera design. The LC-Series (LC321S) has a flip-out LCD touchscreen interface for camera control, monitoring and cine playback.
The LC321S is a popular Phantom camera model for media applications, as the camera’s small size, great image quality, ability to shoot up to 1,500 fps at 1080p HD, and built-in controls makes it an extremely fun – and quick – high speed camera to work with.
Scientists and engineers can take advantage of the 3.2 Gpx/s throughput, precise timing, camera synchronization, flexible triggering, excellent light sensitivity, and many other advanced features to gain insight into products and processes. Each Miro camera is compatible with Vision Research’s new and unique CineFlash storage technology. These removable, non-volatile storage devices slide into the camera body and provide a way to quickly and remotely save shots from the camera which saves time and money. Later, remove the CineFlash module from the camera and insert it into the docking station connected to a computer. Cines stored on the CineFlash are now immediately available on the computer. You can also transfer the cines from the camera to your computer and edit the images using our Phantom Camera Control software (PCC). A 120GB CineFlash and Dock come with every R or LC camera purchase!These cameras also come with a battery that can power the camera when AC power is not available or is lost during an experiment.Each Miro R and LC camera supports four lens mounts: Nikon F/G, C, PL or EF. EF mounts allow the use of Canon EF and EF-S automated lenses.
